Winmau darts: common questions

What is the difference between Blade 5 and Blade 6? Blade 6 uses a thinner, stronger wire and a redesigned bullseye compared with Blade 5, giving a larger effective scoring area and fewer bounce-outs. The Triple Core version adds a denser sisal core for longer board life.

How do I set up a dartboard correctly? Mount the bullseye 1.73m (5ft 8in) from the floor and mark the oche 2.37m (7ft 9.25in) horizontally from the board face. A surround protects the wall from stray darts and a dart mat with a printed oche sets the distance for you.

Do I need a dartboard light? A dedicated light such as the Winmau Plasma removes the shadow cast by your own arm and body, which is the main cause of misreading the board in a home setup.
