What Size Basketball Unit Should I Buy?

Ages 5-7: 6–8ft (1.8–2.4m). Adjustable basketball hoop

Ages 8-11: 8–9ft (2.4–2.75m). Adjustable basketball hoop

Is It Worth Spending More?

If you'll use it regularly, absolutely. Premium hoops offer better stability, a truer rebound, longer-lasting materials, and stand up to years of outdoor play

Can it be left outside all year?

Yes. Most quality basketball units are built for year-round outdoor use with weather-resistant materials. For maximum lifespan, we recommend using a cover, lowering the hoop to its shortest height or storing it horizontally during bad weather, and filling the base with sand. If you choose to fill it with water, add antifreeze to help prevent freezing in colder temperatures.
