Job Title: Credit Controller

Job Purpose

McSport is currently looking for a Credit Controller to join our Accounts Department based in our Dublin Head Office location. We are looking for energetic, hardworking individuals who are passionate and dedicated in what we do!

Position: Full-time, Permanent.

Location: Dublin 22.

Salary: Negotiable (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact customers in order to secure outstanding balances.
  • Deal with incoming queries from customers.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations.
  • Process sales invoices on a daily basis.
  • Issue statements to customers on a monthly basis.
  • Assist with monthly/yearly accounts.
  • Ad hoc projects, as necessary.
  • Assist other department colleagues as required.

Key Skills:

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a busy credit control environment.
  • Experience using Microsoft Navision is advantageous.
  • A proven track record in achieving targets.
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel.
  • Competency to work both on an individual basis and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Capable of multi-tasking and prioritising workload to achieve tight deadlines.
  • Good communication skills both orally and written.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Enabling the service team to be customer-centric and provide an amazing experience.
  • Knowing the organisation's products inside and out to step in on escalated customer issues that the team is unable to resolve.
  • Resolving complaints in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement customer service policies/procedures and that CS staff adhere to these.
  • Define and communicate customer service standards.
  • Oversee the achievement and maintenance of agreed customer service levels and standards.
  • Direct the daily operations of the customer service team.
  • Plan, prioritise and delegate work tasks to ensure proper functioning of the department.
  • Ensure the necessary resources and tools are available for quality customer service delivery.
  • Review customer complaints and track complaint resolutions.
  • Handle complex and escalated customer service issues.
  • Identify and implement strategies to improve quality of service, productivity, and profitability
  • Liaise with company management to support and implement growth strategies.
  • Co-ordinate and manage customer service projects and initiatives.
  • Evaluate and performance manage staff.

Keys Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in customer service management.
  • People management experience.
  • Zendesk experience is advantageous.
  • Strong problem analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent and professional written/verbal communication skills.

Job Title: Senior Financial Accountant

Responsibilities & Duties (which is not exhaustive):

  • Oversee all areas of the Finance Department.
  • AP Function.
  • AR Receivable.
  • Accounts preparation.
  • Monitor cashflow on a daily basis.
  • Ensure best terms are achieved from suppliers.
  • Ensure supplier payments are kept up to date and in line with terms.
  • Prepare monthly Management Accounts on a timely basis.
  • Prepare year end accounts and control the Audit process.
  • Assist in the preparation of Company-wide reporting.
  • Weekly and monthly Sales & Operational metrics.
  • Daily measurement of Gross Margin.
  • Drive the Inventory Cycle Count process.
  • Ensure that the year-end Stock Count is conducted in a manner agreeable with the Auditors.
  • Set up systems for analysing and assessing expenditure and costs across the Company.
  • Ensure that all customer queries are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Engage with, and provide support to, all Business Units, insofar as it affects the finances of the business. 

Keys Skills & Experience:

  • 5 – 7 years minimum experience in managing a busy finance department.
  • Qualified accountancy qualification.
  • Strong Communication Skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge.
  • Microsoft Dynamics/NAV experience a distinct advantage.
  • Experience managing and developing people within a finance function.

Job Title: Inventory Control Co-Ordinator

Job Purpose

McSport is currently looking for a Inventory Control Co-Ordinator to join our Warehouse/Procurement Department based in our Dublin Head Office location. We are looking for energetic, hardworking individuals who are passionate and dedicated in what we do! This role will report directly to the Inventory Controller with 70% of your time based in the warehouse with the remaining 30% on administration and reporting functions

  • Prepare daily inventory listing, highlighting any items that need attention.
  • Oversee the storage of products, with close emphasis on the accuracy and speed of dispatch to customers.
  • Coordinate regular inventory audits.
  • Assist in the process and perform weekly cycle counting to ensure all products are counted.
  • Liaise with Warehouse staff and other internal teams concerning the delivery and storage of stock.
  • Work closely with Goods In department ensuring all products is labelled correctly.
  • Assist in the control of transfers of inventory inputs and outputs from multiple warehouses.  

Keys Skills & Experience:

  • Competent in the use of MS Excel and other MS software solutions.
  • Thorough understanding of supply chain procedures.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience working with ERP systems.

  • Shoot and edit our photography and video content by working collaboratively with our Marketing team.
  • Be adept at working independently, able to make sound decisions in line with the McSport and Hit Fitness brands and tone.
  • Work in partnership with the wider E-Commerce, Sales and Commercial teams. 
  • Manage the lighting setups and run video/photoshoots on your own.
  • Conduct keyword research and employ SEO best practices to optimise content.
  • Target content to specific audiences and focus on trending topics.

 Keys Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing is advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience in Adobe Suite & Photoshop or other relevant marketing software.
  • Expert in shooting video and photo content. Knowledge and understating of industry and leading camera systems is needed as is experience in planning, producing and editing videos.
  • Retouching, colour correcting & optimization of video.
  • Strong concept creator & storyteller with the ability to communicate clearly.
  • Strong animation & design skills.
  • Expert in audio and able to troubleshoot technology/audio issues.
  • High attention to detail for audio & video editing.
  • Ability to prepare video files for upload to YT and various social media platforms.
  • Experience in the sports & fitness industry preferable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Open, honest and comfortable in giving and receiving constructive feedback.
  • Experience with social media and digital marketing software.

Job Purpose

McSport is currently looking for a Copywriter to join our Marketing Department based in our Dublin Head Office location. We are looking for energetic, hardworking individuals who are passionate and dedicated in what we do! 

The ideal person for this opportunity will be highly skilled and confident in content writing, with a passion for strength, fitness, wellness and sport culture. The successful candidate will work alongside the Marketing and E-Commerce teams to create high-quality written content for website, PR, packaging and digital ad campaigns, among other channels.

Position: Full-Time, Fixed Term Contract 6 Months.

Location: Dublin 22.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Write, revise and proof flawless copy, including but not limited to; blog posts, buying guides, product reviews, product descriptions, press releases, paid digital ad content (AdWords/paid social).
  • Work with our E-Commerce and Marketing teams to generate ideas for content based off SEO key terms and marketing campaigns. Implement SEO key words into all website content produced.
  • Study competitor and industry trends to uncover new content opportunities.
  • Maintain brand guidelines and tone of voice to ensure consistency and quality throughout each deliverable.
  • Proof, edit and develop existing content to ensure it adheres to our style and brand guidelines.
  • Craft flawless copy for Customer Success templates making sure it's consistent and cohesive with our brand tone of voice. Assist in maintaining content on website Help Centre; FAQs etc.
  • Work with the team and assist in projects outside the content creation spectrum where necessary.

 Keys Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism/Marketing is advantageous but not essential.
  • Minimum 3+ years of copywriting experience. Professional experience is not a necessity but certainly a plus. Internship/educational experience accepted.
  • Portfolio demonstrating creative, high quality content from past experience required.
  • Fluency in English both written & verbal is essential.
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills with a creative flair.
  • Strong knowledge of strength and fitness trends, jargon and the various related publications.
  • Have a solid understanding of different marketing disciplines, like content, SEO and social media.
  • Ability to receive and follow job briefs while keeping brand values and tone of voice to the forefront.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with a team.
  • Open, honest and comfortable in giving and receiving constructive feedback.
  • Structured and proactive – able to manage several projects that might be running at different speeds and know when to prioritise each task.
  • Good computer literacy.
