These wall balls are designed for throwing and catching exercises. They are not suitable for slamming exercises where the ball is repeatedly thrown directly into the floor.
Wall balls form part of HYROX competition and are commonly incorporated into HYROX-specific conditioning sessions. The range includes 4kg, 6kg and 9kg options, making it suitable for users preparing for different HYROX divisions and training requirements.
Lighter wall balls are useful for learning technique, developing consistency and completing higher-repetition workouts. Heavier options increase the strength and conditioning demand, particularly during repeated squat-and-throw movements.
For HYROX preparation, it is worth choosing a weight that reflects your competition category, while lighter weights can also be useful for technique work and longer training sessions.
The Physical Company Wall Ball is suited to home gyms, functional training facilities and commercial gyms looking for a ball specifically designed for repeated throwing and catching exercises. It is particularly relevant for functional fitness and HYROX training, where wall balls are regularly used for high-repetition conditioning work.
