Product information

The Hit Fitness Cable Crossover Multi Gym combines a power rack, functional trainer, cable crossover machine and pull-up station into a single strength training system. Designed for home gyms, it provides a wide range of free weight and cable exercises while keeping the equipment footprint compact.

The integrated adjustable cable system supports both unilateral and bilateral movements for functional strength training, while the built-in power rack allows for barbell exercises with the added security of J-hooks and safety catches. A 60 kg weight stack provides quick resistance changes for cable exercises, making the machine suitable for full-body workouts without the need to load plates for every movement.

The dual cable ratio system offers 1:2 and 1:4 resistance options, giving smoother, more controlled movement for isolation exercises as well as heavier resistance for compound lifts. Adjustable cable pulleys allow the handles to be positioned at multiple heights, making the machine suitable for cable crossovers, chest flyes, triceps pushdowns, biceps curls, face pulls, lateral raises and many other functional exercises.

In addition to cable training, the multi gym includes a lat pulldown and seated rowing station for upper body strength development. The integrated chin-up and dip station expands exercise variety further, allowing bodyweight training alongside traditional resistance exercises.

The power rack section includes four J-hooks and inner long safety catches, providing secure support for squats, bench presses and overhead presses. Four integrated weight plate storage holders help keep your training area organised while adding stability to the frame.

Constructed from 50 x 70 x 3 mm heavy-duty steel tubing, the frame is designed for durability and stability during demanding strength training sessions.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can you do on a cable crossover and power rack machine?

A cable crossover and power rack combination can be used for both free-weight and cable-based strength training. Depending on the configuration, exercises can include squats, bench presses, overhead presses, pull-ups, dips, cable crossovers, chest flyes, triceps pushdowns, biceps curls, face pulls, lateral raises, lat pulldowns and seated rows.

What is the difference between a 1:2 and 1:4 cable ratio?

A cable ratio determines how the weight stack resistance is transferred to the handle and affects both the resistance and cable travel. A 1:2 ratio provides higher resistance with less cable travel, while a 1:4 ratio provides lighter resistance with greater cable travel. This makes the different ratios useful for different types of training. On the Hit Fitness Cable Crossover Multi Gym, the cable system can be configured between 1:2 and 1:4 resistance ratios.

Does a 60 kg weight stack provide enough resistance for a home gym?

A 60 kg weight stack can provide substantial resistance for many cable exercises, particularly isolation and functional movements. The effective resistance at the handle also depends on the pulley ratio being used. The Hit Fitness Cable Crossover Multi Gym uses a 60 kg stack with selectable 1:2 and 1:4 cable ratios, allowing the resistance to be adjusted according to the exercise and training requirement.

Can you do heavy compound exercises on a functional trainer?

A functional trainer is primarily designed for cable exercises, but when it is integrated with a power rack it can also support traditional barbell exercises. Squats, bench presses and overhead presses can be performed using the rack section. The Hit Fitness Cable Crossover Multi Gym has four J-hooks, inner long safety catches and a stated 350 kg weight capacity for the rack system.

Is a cable crossover useful for full-body workouts?

Yes. A cable crossover can be used to train most major muscle groups when the pulley positions and attachments allow sufficient exercise variation. Upper-body exercises can include cable flyes, rows, pulldowns, curls, triceps extensions, face pulls and lateral raises, while cable-based lower-body and core movements can also be performed. Combining the crossover with a power rack, pull-up bar, dip station, lat pulldown and seated row increases the range of available exercises.

Can you do squats and bench presses on a functional trainer?

The Hit Fitness Cable Crossover Multi Gym includes J-hooks and inner spotter arms for exercises such as squats, bench presses and overhead presses. But you will require a weight bench (sold separately).

Can a functional trainer replace dumbbells?

Not completely, as cables and dumbbells provide different resistance characteristics. However, a functional trainer can replicate many dumbbell exercises, including curls, lateral raises, flyes, rows and triceps exercises. Check out our dumbbells collection to complement your workout.

Can you do pull-ups and dips on a cable crossover power rack?

Yes, if the machine includes dedicated stations. This model has a multi-grip chin-up bar and dip station, allowing bodyweight exercises alongside cable and barbell training.
