An indoor adaptation of curling played on any flat floor surface. The stones sit on concealed ball bearings so they glide smoothly without ice, and players slide them toward a target mat. Scoring follows the same principle as curling — closest stones to the centre score.Who can play? Almost anyone. It requires no running, jumping or standing balance, and pushers allow wheelchair users and players with limited grip to compete on equal terms — which is why it is a mainstay of inclusive PE and adapted sport programmes.What is boccia? A Paralympic precision sport in which players roll, throw or ramp leather balls as close as possible to a white target ball.
