Summary

The XLR8 Hurdles (sold individually) are known as the toughest and most durable hurdles on the market today. With speed training becoming ever more import and popular in team sports, it is key that you are able to design workouts and training sessions that maximise the potential of players. With this in mind these XLR8 Hurdles are perfect as you can order exactly how many of each hurdle you need in order to further the goals of your strategy.

The 10 cm atomic hurdles for example are so low to the ground that they are the perfect obstacle for plyometric drills that emphasise foot speed. With this individual ordering ability you can pick up one hurdle or one hundred hurdles depending on the size of your club.

Also available in 15 cm’s micro and 30 cm’s mini versions there is enough variety and scope in these XLR8 Hurdles to put together a whole host of different training sessions. Work foot speed by varying the size of the hurdles and challenging players to get as close to the obstacle as possible, while still clearing it for a leg sapping acceleration session. Test agility by having the hurdles placed on a slalom course so players are forced to make a quick cut or step right after getting both feet on the ground.

Awareness and peripheral vision can also be improved by incorporating simple hurdle drills into your training plan, making your side the team to beat.
