I am writing to thank you for your recent handling of an order I placed with your company, McSport. I run a small (but getting bigger) fitness training company called Bootcamp West, based inWestport, Mayo. I have been ordering products on and off from both yourselves and one of your main competitors inIreland. I recently placed orders with both companies. Neither order was fully fulfilled as goods were out of stock. However, unlike your competitor, the after-sales service I received from your company and yourself in particular was excellent. Without having to call and chase up, I was regularly advised as to the status of my order and offered alternatives where goods were out of stock. This is, of course, standard after sales procedure.
Sadly, it is lacking in many companies. Your company then went the extra mile by offering me a more expensive product at no extra charge to compensate me for any delay and inconvenience. Great stuff. I would like it noted by the senior management at your company that this level of service is appreciated and should not go unrewarded. As a former GM of a large multinational retailer, I know the value of excellent after-sales in promoting brand and customer loyalty. Based on my recent experience, I have decided to use your company as my first port of call for all future orders for my business. I trust and expect the same level of service ongoingly. I am confident my experience reflects a very healthy service culture within your company. Once again, it has been a pleasure doing business with you.

I received the tag belts in the post today and they are perfect, thank you. I would like to say a huge THANK YOU for all the work you have done with me to ensure that I received all the goods I ordered. You were extremely helpful and remained extremely professional and calm at times where the "package" seemed to have vanished into thin air!!! I know at the moment in this current recessionary period that working in this country can be a little difficult and from past experience dealing with customers is never much fun. Sooooo seriously thank you for all your help.
I would appreciate if you could please pass this onto management so that they can see how much hard work you put into delivering a good service to just one customer. I have also recommended Mcsports to many of my friends and recommended your goodself as point of contact. No doubt I shall be in contact again with a new order soon!
