1. Marketing Manager

We are looking for a creative Marketing Manager who can raise the bar at McSport and drive brand reputation through storytelling, ideation, and innovation whilst nurturing and inspiring our in-house creative and digital teams in the process.

You will have experience in activating marketing campaigns from start to finish and worked with cross-functional teams on tight deadlines to deliver content and campaigns that drove results. You have a keen interest in sports and fitness and in turn are passionate about leading teams to deliver results in a fast paced environment. 

This role is high intensity, working alongside teams that are passionate about what they do and on a journey to elevate McSport, whilst enjoying the wins along the way. It’s a fun brand and we enjoy what we do! 

Key Priorities:

  • Creative Storytelling: Bring ideation, concept and storytelling capabilities in-house at McSport to develop integrated creative campaigns, content and experiences. 
  • Brand Voice and Visual Style: Establish and manage McSports brand voice and visual style to connect and engage with each customer segment. Lead the successful development of a consistent voice and distinctive style, across everything from campaigns, social posts, website, emails to point of sale and packaging.
  • Collaboration and Partnerships: Collaborate closely with department heads and build relationships that aid in problem solving and support McSport initiatives, with the ultimate goal of optimising the customer experience and maximising revenue generation. Nurture relationships with brand ambassadors and partnering agencies or companies. 
  • Measurement and Insights: Analyse campaigns, identify trends and provide fast, accurate reports, to optimise and improve campaign performance. Identify and prioritise digital marketing objectives, to communicate marketing messages to varied target audiences across multiple platforms.
  • Customer Retention: Establish initiatives to improve customer retention across the four pillars of the business. 
  • One Step Ahead: Keep up to date with our audience – ensure we are marketing the right products to the right people on the right platforms, in collaboration with the sales teams to enhance our content strategy.
  • 1st Party Data Growth: Work closely with internal teams in researching opportunities to promote our content and grow our marketing databases. 

Requirements:

  • Passion for creativity with experience pitching ideas that articulate a strategically creative approach.
  • Proven B2B / B2C marketing experience in a similar role with tight budget management and the ability to spend budgets on results driven media outlets.
  • Excellent management skills with the ability to meet deadlines on multiple projects with varying timelines.
  • Demonstrated success building, leading and managing integrated marketing campaigns and/or content strategies that drive demand and pipeline and include a mix of web/digital, email, events, social media, and direct mail components.
  • Self-starter; takes initiative and shows continuous growth.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A positive team player with an optimistic, enthusiastic attitude able to collaborate with and influence peers to overcome obstacles.

2. Service Engineer

We are looking for an experienced hands-on professional Field Service Engineer to join our service and installation team. Servicing our gym equipment for both Commercial & Domestic clients, you will have the opportunity to work for a respected market leader with a portfolio of clients such as FLYEFIT gyms, Google, Microsoft, indeed, IRFU, Dalata Hotel Group to name but a few.

If you are up for a challenge, we would love to have you on our team! This is a Monday to Friday position. Access to a company vehicle also.

Day to day duties & responsibilities:

  • Work within a team environment to provide a high level of service to our client base Nationwide.
  • Manage and co-ordinate all service jobs in a professional and safe manner.
  • Work with service co-ordinator on planning/scheduling of jobs
  • Report all service jobs accurately and input into Workpal.
  • Ensure all jobs are left in a tidy and professional manner on completion.
  • Communicate with clients and build relationships.
  • Service our Nationwide clientele base
  • Maintain and troubleshoot faults on C.V. machines.
  • Support our first-time fix ethos.

Skills for the Role:

  • Full driver’s License
  • Fluent in English both written and verbal
  • Previous General Maintenance Background an advantage
  • Mechanical and low voltage Electrical experience an advantage
  • Ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Computer literacy essential

3. Graphic Designer

McSport we are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join their dynamic team. This is someone who cares deeply about creating world-class shopping experiences for our customers and takes delight in building upon the company’s brand.

Responsibilities:

Create Compelling Digital Designs:

  • Develop visually captivating and on-brand designs for digital advertising campaigns, including banners, social media graphics, email newsletters, website assets, and other digital channels.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute effective design solutions that align with campaign goals and target audience.

Design Engaging Marketing Materials:

  • Design and produce eye-catching promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, posters, and point-of-sale materials for both online and offline marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing collateral.

Adapt Designs for Multiple Platforms:

  • Optimize and adapt designs to suit various digital platforms, ensuring they are responsive and visually appealing on different devices and screen sizes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in digital advertising and design to bring fresh ideas and innovative approaches to campaigns.

Collaborate and Coordinate:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, content, and web to understand project requirements, objectives, and timelines.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to integrate engaging visuals with compelling written content.

Maintain Brand Consistency:

  • Bring the brand's visual identity to new heights, ensuring consistency in design elements, colour schemes, typography, and overall aesthetic across all touchpoints.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring that all visual assets adhere to brand standards.

Skills/Experience needed:

  • Dynamic personality who adapts well to change and can thrive in a rapidly and ever-growing company.
  • 6+ years of relevant design experience, preferably in retail (with multiple channels).
  • Excellent communicator with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Driven, enthusiastic, with ambitions to grow your career.
  • Top-tier skills as illustrated in a design portfolio.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe creative suite and additional creative tools.
  • Photography, videography, and audio capture a bonus but not required.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.

4. Gym Installations

We are looking for an experienced hands-on professional Gym Installer to join our team. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Installing sports & fitness equipment into private homes and commercial gyms
  • Vans supplied for installation of fitness equipment Nationwide
  • Gym installation experience not essential, DIY an advantage
  • Working from heights
  • Dealing with McSport customers in a polite and efficient manner
  • Report all install jobs accurately and input them into “Workpal”
  • Work with the install co-ordinator on the planning / scheduling of jobs
  • Previous installation experience desirable
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent customer service mindset
  • Training will be provided 

Essential Criteria

  • Full Driving License
  • Fluent in English

McSport is currently looking for a Sales Office Manager to join our Inside Sales Team based in our Dublin Head Office location. We are looking for energetic, hardworking individuals who are passionate and dedicated to what we do!

We are looking for an experienced Sales Supervisor to come on board and lead our team of Sales Advisors through driving sales, setting standards, and providing support to operations. We need an exceptional, motivated, energetic, and commercially astute individual to join the team and one who will hit the ground running from day one! Responsibilities & Duties:

  • To support with all day-to-day sales, commercial, and people management duties.
  • To deliver sales KPIs through the team, customer service, and product knowledge.
  • Lead and motivate the team through high levels of engagement and communication.
  • Analyse sales reports and react accordingly to achieve your department KPIs.
  • Always support the operation of the sales team through coaching, managing, and reporting, therefore ensuring all business priorities are delivered.
  • Ensure that exceptional customer service is in place throughout the sales office.

 Keys Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of sales office experience is essential.

  • Exceptional interpersonal capabilities and people management experience.
  • Experience dealing with customer queries and providing a top-class customer experience.

  • Excellent Business Acumen.
  • Strong problem-solving ability.

6. Sales Specialist Showroom

McSport is currently looking for a Sales Associate  to join our Sales Department based in our Dublin Head Office. We are looking for energetic, hardworking individuals who are passionate and dedicated in what we do to bring all their expert knowledge to our progressive business! 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the Customer Journey from start to finish is a 5-star experience.
  • Dealing with sales returns, complaints & Issues within the showroom.
  • Ensure all Quotes are followed up by phone/email in a timely manner.
  • Process Payments – Cash / Realex / PayPal / Vouchers etc.
  • Manage and grow our relationship with our current customers.
  • Log warranties for Cardio Machines.
  • General Administration Duties.

 Key Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 1-year experience in the retail industry.
  • Personal Training qualification a distinct advantage.
  • Be customer focused.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work under pressure and on your own initiative.
  • Working knowledge of the sports and fitness industry.
