Suggested height guide: 55cm - users up to 165cm tall 65cm - users between 166cm and 184cm 75cm - users 185cm and over We have compiled a list of four excellent moves that you can do with your stability ball: • Crunch, Reach, Pass: Lying on your back, keep your legs flat on the floor and grip the ball firmly between your lower leg and ankles. Raise your legs into the air and reach forward until you are able grab the ball with your hands. Once you have the ball in your hands lower your arms back over your head until the ball touches the floor and return your legs to their starting position. Repeat the move, this time passing the ball back between your feet. • Push-ups: Lie on top of the ball and walk forward with your hands until only your legs are resting on the ball and your palms are flat on the floor. Lower your upper body to the floor and then hold your position for a moment before pushing yourself up again. Keep your back straight and do not lock your elbows when returning to the starting position. • Wall Squats: Find a large flat wall with no obstructions. Place the ball between your lower back and the wall, leaning against the ball with your feet a shoulder length apart. Squat down until the top of your thighs are parallel to the floor, then hold the position before rolling back up to the starting position. • Pike: Start in the same position as you would for the push-up. Use your abs to roll the ball forward, while pushing your hips into the air and keeping your legs as stiff as possible. One your body resembles a ‘V’ shape, hold the position for a few seconds and then slowly roll back into the starting position.
